About the Position

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our R&D Center in Warsaw, Łódź, or remotely.

Responsibilities

Designing and programming new backend and/or frontend functions
Participating in code reviews
Participating in design meetings according to the Agile methodology
Collaborating with other programmers, testers, a product owner, and a UX designer

Requirements

JAVA object-oriented programming skills, Spring and JPA/Hibernate skills
Inclination towards high-quality coding, knowledge of concepts such as polymorphism, encapsulation, and design patterns
Knowledge of algorithm basics and proficiency in using recursion and basic data structures such as Priority Queue, Hashmap, and Linked List
Differentiating between linear complexity and quadratic complexity
JavaScript / HTML / CSS basic skills
SQL knowledge
Communication skills and focus on development

Nice to Have

Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL
Experience with Angular

Recruitment Process

Meet with a manager: You will meet with the manager of the department you’re applying to, in-person or online. You will learn more about what we do and the role you’re applying for.
Recruitment task: After or during the meeting, we will ask you to complete a short recruitment task so that we can see you in action. This will also give you an idea of what your tasks would look like.
Next meeting: After you submit the task, we will contact you with feedback and inform you whether we decided to invite you for another meeting. During the second meeting, you will learn more about working at Globema and we will get to know you even better.
Decision: If all goes well, we will make a job offer. We hope you will accept so we will have the chance to work together 🙂
