Java Developer

About the Position

GBL Tech is a technology consulting company that provides a complete set of services, from simple staffing to a more complex service catalog driven approach. We are looking for a Java Developer to join our team and grow with us. Our company is in continuous growth and is remote-first.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and other frameworks
• Design and implement microservices
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Ensure best development practices are followed
• Collaborate with frontend developers using JavaScript and its frameworks
• Participate in CI/CD processes and containerization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or similar
• At least 3 years of experience in Java programming language and its frameworks, particularly Spring Boot
• Experience with Webservices and Microservices
• Experience in any Cloud Platform
• Mindset for CI/CD and Containers
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with best development practices
• Experience with JavaScript and/or its frameworks
• Fluency in English
