Job Summary

This role is for a Principal Architect in the Integrated Services Group who will design and govern enterprise grade wealth management solutions using Java, Python, and Temenos Wealth Suite. The architect will define target architectures, guide complex implementation programs, and ensure scalable, secure, and resilient platforms that align with business strategy in a hybrid work model with day shifts.

Responsibilities

Designing, implementing, and leading large-scale enterprise solutions and working with Product teams for defining Solution architecture and Integration architecture for integrating the product with surrounding systems.
Expert experience in integration patterns, microservices architecture, and cloud-native deployments.
Proven ability to align technology strategies with business goals and mentor diverse development teams.
Architecting, developing optimized microservices, and REST APIs for real-time business operations leveraging major EIPs.
Leading migration from monolithic applications to microservices, improved maintainability, and accelerated release cycles.
Built and reviewed load balancing and failover mechanisms using database-driven configurations, caching, and message-driven design patterns.
Implemented logging, auditing, and API monitoring frameworks meeting enterprise security and compliance requirements.
AI experience leveraging AI tools for automation like modeling, analysis, and code generation.
Strong experience in Enterprise and Solution Architecture definition and implementation for large projects.
Able to manage customer expectations to ensure that the proposed solution is aligned with the customer.
Able to lead a team of 10 plus people to deliver technology-specific solutions to the customer and build solution assets within Cognizant.
To groom developers and tech leads to take up architecture roles.
Ability to manage stakeholders and their expectations effectively.
