As a Software Engineer – Java Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting scalable cloud-native applications that power critical business operations. You will be a valued member of an Agile engineering team, collaborating with architects, developers, product owners, and support teams to deliver high-quality solutions with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React.js, and cloud-native technologies.
- Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions using Kafka, SNS/SQS, and modern integration patterns.
- Deploy and support applications on AWS while ensuring scalability, resilience, and operational excellence.
- Own production support activities, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, defect remediation, and system stability improvements.
- Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams to deliver high-quality solutions through CI/CD practices, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of experience in software development using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API development, and system integrations.
- Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka and AWS messaging services such as SNS and SQS.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, along with experience working with cloud database technologies such as AWS RDS Oracle, RDS PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, including Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub Actions, and source control management.
- Production support experience, including troubleshooting, monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Experience using monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch.
- Experience working within Agile Scrum environments and participating in sprint planning, standups, and delivery ceremonies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to support global teams during EST business hours.
Nice to Have
- Experience with React.js, JavaScript, and full-stack application development.
- Knowledge of Azure and Google Cloud Platform services and data technologies.
- Experience implementing API-led integrations and enterprise messaging solutions.
- Understanding of data quality, validation, error handling, and data migration processes.
- Experience with Guidewire integrations and Guidewire API implementations.
- Exposure to large-scale insurance or financial services technology environments.
- Proven ability to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in production environments.

- Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $64,025 to $94,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
