Primary stack
Job description
About the Position
We are looking for a highly capable JavaScript Full-Stack Developer with a passion for building rich, responsive web and hybrid-mobile applications. In this role, you will apply your expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js to deliver fast, SEO-friendly, and mobile-first user interfaces.
Your focus will be crafting exceptional web experiences that look and feel like native mobile apps, optimizing performance for both desktop and mobile web view browsers (including iOS Safari). Collaborating closely with backend engineers, UX designers, and product owners, you will translate interactive designs into clean, modular, and reusable front-end code.
Responsibilities
- Design and build high-performance, responsive web applications using React and Next.js (leveraging features like SSR, SSG, and API routes)
- Implement pixel-perfect, mobile-first designs that adapt seamlessly across devices, with particular attention to optimizing layouts, animations, and touch interactions for mobile viewports (including iOS/Android browsers)
- Manage complex client-side state (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Context API) and connect applications with backend RESTful or GraphQL APIs
- Profile and fine-tune applications for maximum loading speed, Core Web Vitals, and smooth rendering on lower-powered mobile devices
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable JavaScript/TypeScript, perform thorough code reviews, and contribute to our shared UI component library
Requirements
- 2+ years of proven experience in modern web development with a strong focus on building user-facing features
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React
- Hands-on background in the Next.js framework (App Router or Pages Router, Server Components)
- Familiarity with modern CSS frameworks or methodologies (e.g., Tailwind CSS, styled-components, CSS Modules)
- Expertise in optimizing web apps for mobile browsers, PWAs (Progressive Web Apps), or embedding web views within hybrid mobile containers
- Proficiency in Git and working within an Agile/Scrum development cycle
- Minimum English language level of B1+
We Offer
- Hybrid work model based in Guadalajara, Mexico
- Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment
- Competitive salary (details upon application)
