About the Position

Junior Business Analyst

Playtech's Casino Native Apps team is looking for a curious and analytical Junior Business Analyst who is eager to learn, grow, and build a career in Business Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Learn and grow under the mentorship of a Senior Business Analyst, gaining hands-on experience in Business Analysis practices
• Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements across multiple projects
• Support the Senior Business Analyst in preparing Jira tasks, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
• Create and maintain project documentation in Confluence and Jira
• Review mockups and verify their alignment with documented requirements
• Work with JSON-based configurations and assist in analyzing configuration-related requirements
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders, developers, and QA engineers
• Support backlog refinement and requirements clarification activities
• Validate implemented solutions against documented requirements
• Participate in researching and analyzing new business requests and product improvements
• Collaborate with Backend and Frontend teams delivering a continuous stream of enhancements and projects within the Casino Native Apps product area

Requirements

• Bring a relevant university degree and around a year of professional experience
• Understand core Business Analysis principles and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Are comfortable working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, and AI-powered assistants
• Can translate business needs into clear requirements and documentation
• Think analytically, communicate effectively, and pay attention to detail
• Take ownership, stay organized, and manage priorities efficiently
• Are passionate about learning and developing your Business Analysis skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in IT projects or product development environments
• A background in QA, Development, Design, or Technical Support
• Knowledge of APIs, JSON, and system integrations
• Experience managing people, projects, or initiatives
