Junior Full-Stack Engineer

About the Position

We're looking for a Junior Full-Stack Engineer (PHP) with first experience in web development. A keen desire to learn and a proven ability to deliver quality software within deadlines are essential.

You’ll join our development team building web products on Laravel and Craft CMS. From your first weeks, you’ll work on real client projects alongside a mentor who reviews your code and helps you grow.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain front-end and back-end features for client websites and web applications.
• Write clean, maintainable code that follows our development standards.
• Improve your JavaScript skills and learn how projects are deployed and maintained.

Requirements

• Experience with Laravel, Symfony or Craft CMS - commercial projects or solid personal projects you can show us.
• Ability to work 30+ hours/week.
• Practical experience with JavaScript.
• Confident with Git; knowing GitFlow is a plus.
• Basic Linux and command line skills, and npm for front-end builds.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, without burning out.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ideal Candidate

• A student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as in a team structure.
• You are a self-starter, a problem solver and you take responsibility.
• You take initiative, but ask for help when you're stuck.
• You are open-minded and approachable.
