Junior Instructional Systems Designer

About the Position

Infina is seeking a highly motivated Junior Instructional Systems Designer who has had experience working on campaigns and performs functions associated with adult learning theories and concepts. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of Instructional Design and Courseware Development to assist with developing classroom and e-Learning courses. Must be able to demonstrate past experience in courseware design using formal Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methods and processes. Excellent writing skills, communication skills, and familiarity with MS-Office and other training management products are required. The role involves working with and guiding a team consisting of subject matter experts, content providers, graphic designers, and end-users.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with peers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to establish design specifications including writing learning objectives, sequencing topics, providing content development, and designing exercises.
• Prepare course development documents, including detailed lesson content outlines, user navigation, screen/page template design, storyboard/script development with text, voice, sound, and graphics.
• Review and revise course content based on client feedback.
• Prepare course materials, including lessons, student guides, instructor guides, assessment items, assessment tools, visual aids, practice exercises, and part task exercises.

Requirements

• Experience in adult learning theories and concepts.
• Knowledge of Instructional Design and Courseware Development.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Familiarity with MS-Office and other training management products.
• Ability to work with and guide a team.
