About the Position
We are seeking an ambitious Junior Java/Kotlin Developer to join our Platform Integration team, where you will be trained and mentored while contributing to a key project for a global technology leader working to deliver high-speed, reliable internet across the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain microservices using Java and Kotlin
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code for assigned features and bug fixes
- Participate actively in code reviews
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues under the guidance of a mentor
- Collaborate with the team in all Agile ceremonies
- Contribute to the team's documentation
- Build a strong understanding of the project's domain, architecture, and codebase
- Grow into a productive member of the scrum team by delivering on assigned tasks
- Advance technical skills in Java, GCP, and related project technologies on a continuous basis
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience with Java and Kotlin development
- Knowledge of Spring, JUnit, and Git
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Gradle
- Proficiency in English at Intermediate (B1) level or higher
