About the Position
We are looking for a Junior People Operations Coordinator to join our team. This operational support role is designed to ensure the smooth execution of internal people processes.
Responsibilities
- HR Administrative Support: Add, update, and remove Masters’ records in our HR system, and keep HR documents up to date; assist with payroll tasks (recording expenses and receipts) and support the People Operations Manager with research, scheduling, and document drafting.
- Payroll Support: Assist the People Operations Manager by collecting and organizing payroll-related inputs, managing expense documentation, and coordinating time-tracking and reporting to ensure timely processing.
- Learning & Internal Programs: Coordinate the operational aspects of the English Learning Program, knowledge-sharing activities, and internal community events, including scheduling, participant tracking, and communication.
- Operational Documentation Support: Assist in maintaining the People Operations knowledge base, ensuring all onboarding/offboarding templates and procedure guides remain up-to-date and accessible.
- Collaborate with Delivery, Information Security, Finance, Legal, and Administration teams to ensure seamless operational execution.
Requirements

- Clear English communication - you’re comfortable understanding routine instructions and writing effective internal messages.
- An AI-forward mindset - you’re ready to learn, test, and use AI tools in your daily work to be more effective (prior experience is a bonus, but not required).
- Operational ownership - you take the initiative to complete tasks, follow up when information is missing, and always ask for help when needed.
- Reliable and consistent - you keep recurring tasks on track and follow agreed-upon instructions and checklists to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
Nice to Have
- HRIS & System proficiency - you have experience using the company’s HRIS and internal People Operations systems.
- Payroll processes - you understand payroll-support processes and reporting requirements.
- Documentation standards - you are comfortable working with internal documentation standards and templates.
- Program coordination - you have experience with the coordination of English Learning and knowledge-sharing or any other similar programs.
- Communication & Workflows - you are familiar with internal communication channels and stakeholder workflows.
- People Ops knowledge - you have a solid grasp of People Operations terminology, policies, and procedures.
