About the Position

Junior PHP Developer (Student)

Join our team in Władysławów, WP, Poland, in a hybrid role. We are looking for a motivated individual to start or advance their career as a PHP Developer, working on modern web projects for our clients and internal products.

We work on diverse web projects – from internet platforms and business systems to our own solutions like SupportMe. This role will give you the opportunity to learn various technologies, gain practical experience, and develop your skills in multiple areas.

We do not require years of experience. We are looking for someone with potential who wants to learn from experienced developers, use AI tools in their daily work, and create modern applications following best practices.

Responsibilities

• Co-create web applications in PHP and Laravel
• Develop new functionalities for existing systems
• Participate in creating new projects for clients and our own products
• Collaborate on designing and developing REST APIs
• Develop and optimize MySQL/MariaDB databases
• Fix bugs and develop existing functionalities
• Participate in code reviews and learn best programming practices
• Use modern AI tools to support the software development process

Requirements

• Student status or completed studies in Computer Science or a related field
• Basic knowledge of PHP
• Basic knowledge of Laravel or willingness to learn the framework quickly
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Basic knowledge of Git
• Proficiency in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) during learning and programming
• Willingness to continuously develop and acquire new skills
• Engagement, independence, and teamwork skills

Nice to Have

• Personal projects or a GitHub account
• Projects completed during studies, internships, or courses
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of REST APIs
• Knowledge of Claude and/or Copilot
• Experience with other web frameworks or technologies
