Since 2016, we have been developing digital solutions in Augsburg to help our customers quickly find the right rental car and be digitally supported at every booking phase. As a (Junior) Product Manager (m/w/d) AI & Automation, you will shape the next generation of our digital customer and service processes: Your goal is to solve customer concerns along the entire route as simply, quickly, and automatically as possible. For this, you will question existing customer journeys and service processes, develop intelligent self-service solutions, and use AI and AI agents specifically to simplify or fully automate complex processes. You will think not only about the customer experience in the frontend but also about the processes behind it: Together with IT and service, you will develop end-to-end solutions that help our customers faster and simultaneously make our internal processes more efficient and scalable.

Responsibilities

• Solve customer problems: You analyze what concerns our customers have around their car rental bookings and develop solutions to solve these faster, simpler, and as automated as possible
• Develop AI agents: You design and develop AI agents and AI-based products together with our IT - for example, for our chatbot, our voicebot, or digital self-services - that increasingly solve customer concerns independently and intelligently
• Rethink processes: You consistently question existing processes and develop them end-to-end, from the customer experience in the frontend to the service and backend process
• Improve the product: You analyze the usage, success rates, and automation level of your features based on clear KPIs and derive concrete improvements from them
• Implement together: You work closely with product management, IT, and customer service from day one and ensure that good ideas become functional products
• Take responsibility: You are responsible for your topics from the initial idea through conception, prioritization, and testing to go-live

Requirements

• Strong academic background: You have completed your studies above average - ideally with an economic, technical, or interdisciplinary focus (e.g., Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Media/Communication Studies, Engineering, etc.)
• Enthusiasm for AI: You intensively deal with generative AI, LLMs, and AI agents, try out new tools and approaches yourself, and want to develop real products and automations from them
• Sense for UX/UI: You understand what intuitive user guidance means, can structure user flows logically, and develop features that are intuitive, understandable, and quickly get customers to their goal
• Strong analytical skills: You have a very good analytical mindset, are number-savvy, think in KPIs, and enjoy processes
• Drive and communication: You clearly articulate your ideas, enjoy working interdisciplinary, and find quick, viable solutions even in dynamic situations
• Language skills: You have very good German language skills in speech and writing

• UX/UI: Experience with UX/UI design tools and methodologies
• Project Management: Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
