About the Position

Категорійний менеджер

We are looking for a Category Manager to join our international, fast-growing company in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Manage product matrices, negotiate with suppliers, and drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

• Formulate strategy for gadgets and smartphones, define the assortment matrix, manage the product lifecycle;
• Interact with suppliers in the designated category on issues of assortment, prices, commercial terms;
• Be responsible for analytics, market analysis, pricing, sales management in categories;
• Ensure the growth of the designated category turnover; achieve the planned category margin;
• Control the representation of categories on the website and distribute products across the network's points of sale;
• Manage inventory, ensure the availability of the necessary amount of goods in the company's warehouse and optimal turnover rates (together with the central commercial team).

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in category management – smartphones, gadgets (preferably);
• Experience in forming product matrices;
• Experience in searching for new suppliers and successfully introducing new demanded products into the assortment, procurement;
• Know the basic principles of procurement, retail sales, marketing, merchandising;
• Understand the basics of pricing, analyze key commercial indicators.
