About the Role

This is a part-time remote position, requiring 10 hours per week with full flexibility. Students are already enrolled, and the platform, scenarios, materials, and team support are all provided.

Your role will be to teach the basics of programming in Scratch and help children create their own projects.

Responsibilities

• Conducting online classes on the platform, either in groups or 1:1, lasting 60 or 90 minutes.
• Teaching programming logic and project creation in Scratch based on provided scenarios and materials.
• Adapting teaching to the individual needs and pace of students.
• Providing feedback and support regarding students' progress.
• Communicating with parents when necessary.

The number of hours may vary throughout the year; the stability of the collaboration depends on the quality of teaching and can increase with results.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Scratch and experience in implementing programming projects in this language.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills.
• Experience working with children and youth.
• Ability to adapt teaching to the individual needs of students.
• Preferred experience in online teaching or tutoring.
• A degree in computer science, pedagogy, or a related field is an advantage.
