Description

We are looking for an engaged and creative online teacher to teach children key digital skills such as programming and web development. We particularly seek individuals with expert knowledge in Python.

Responsibilities

• Conducting interactive and engaging lessons based on provided scenarios and materials.
• Timely checking of tasks completed during lessons and at home.
• Monitoring and improving attendance and quality of learning.
• Supervising group chat and responding to inquiries at least once every 24 hours.
• Maintaining contact with the teaching team at least once every 24 hours.

Work Organization

• Teaching groups of 4 to 15 students.
• Course duration of 40 weeks.
• Over 3 months, a teacher can lead up to 10 groups, depending on performance.
• Availability: weekdays 16:00–22:30, weekends 10:00–21:30.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Python, including algorithms, methods, conditional statements, collections, data structures, and OOP.
• Good knowledge of English and the ability to independently search for information and use English-language materials.
• Experience with Python libraries, including EasyGUI, Pillow, Discord.py, and aiogram.
• Experience in creating chatbots for Telegram and Discord and web applications.
• Ability to read and quickly understand other people's code.
• Experience working with databases and code review skills.
• Ability to work as a freelancer, punctuality, good organization, and time management.
• Willingness to work with children, collaborate with the team, and develop teaching competencies based on feedback.
• Willingness to pass a programming skills test after the interview.
• Computer or laptop with Windows or Mac, good internet connection, camera, microphone, and a quiet place to work.
