About the Position
We are seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience in labor and employment law to join our team in Sarasota, FL.
Responsibilities
- Handle a broad range of employment disputes, including discrimination and retaliation actions and wage and hour litigation.
- Draft employee handbooks and employment agreements.
- Counsel employers on employment law matters.
- Conduct workplace training and investigations for employers.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of labor and employment law experience.
- Active Florida bar license in good standing.
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.
- Strong technological skills, including proficiency with practice management systems and portals.
- Superior research skills, including the use of online services and databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
We Offer
- Competitive salary of $160,000 per year.
