About the Position
We are creating reliable Python web services and need a Lead Python Developer to drive scalable design and secure implementation. You will support the team with reviews and process improvements, manage AWS deployments, and coordinate ReactJS-to-backend integration-apply now.
Responsibilities
- Build and architect scalable backend systems and services
- Collaborate closely with team members to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Facilitate code reviews and guide engineers to meet coding standards
- Diagnose technical issues and optimize overall system performance
- Oversee third-party API integrations and external service connections
- Write and maintain technical documentation for new and existing features
- Promote best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
- Improve team processes and develop technical skills continuously
Requirements
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in relevant software development
- Leadership experience of 1 year managing and directing development teams
- Advanced proficiency in Python for application development and ongoing maintenance
- Experience with ReactJS for frontend work and backend system integration
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud application deployment and management
- Strong background in database design, management, and optimization
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative workflows
- Experience with Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask
- Understanding of Python web server configuration and deployment practices
- Knowledge of security best practices in software engineering
- Experience implementing user authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
- Excellent English communication skills (B2+ Upper-Intermediate or higher), both written and spoken
Nice to Have
- Experience in AI development or architecture, including machine learning model design, AI feature integration into applications, or scalable AI infrastructure development
Location
- Remote in Mexico
