Lead Python Developer

We are building scalable Python backend services and need a Lead Python Developer to set technical direction and raise delivery quality. You will collaborate across teams, guide code reviews, and improve performance, security, and integrations in an Agile setup-apply now.

Responsibilities

• Design and support scalable backend systems and services that fit evolving business needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver dependable and efficient software solutions
• Lead code review workflows and uphold high standards of code quality across the team
• Improve application performance and resolve technical issues as they occur
• Oversee integration of external APIs and third-party services into the platform
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for system features and components
• Promote and apply best practices across the software development lifecycle
• Drive continuous improvement of team processes and technical capabilities

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• 1+ year of experience leading and managing development teams
• Advanced Python expertise for building, maintaining, and evolving applications
• Background building AI-driven solutions or working with Large Language Models (LLM) in software projects
• Strong background in database design, administration, and performance tuning
• Proficiency with Git for version control and team collaboration
• Hands-on practice with Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask
• Working knowledge of Python web server setup and deployment
• Solid understanding of security principles and how to apply them in software projects
• Experience implementing user authentication and authorization solutions
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
• Excellent English communication skills (B2+ Upper-Intermediate) written and spoken
