Lead QA Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer ready to take full ownership of our product quality at a systemic level. Your primary mission is to build QA processes virtually from scratch. You will initially focus on our flagship project, later scaling your expertise and framework across the entire company.

Your Initial Mission

• Audit & Architecture: Perform a deep dive into current QA workflows and design a new, highly efficient testing ecosystem from the ground up.
• Team Leadership: Resource allocation, task management, and mentorship.
• Hands-on Approach: Once processes are established, you will continue to stay involved in the product "hands-on" during key development stages.
• Scaling: After successfully implementing processes on the main project, you will lead the QA direction for all other company projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy (from checklists to automation).
• Establish and monitor reporting standards (bug reports, quality metrics).
• Maintain active collaboration with both Product and Dev teams.
• Continuously seek workflow optimizations through automation and AI tools.

Requirements

• Gamedev Experience: A proven track record on successful, high-scale projects (non-indie). You understand the lifecycle of a major mobile product.
• Leadership Background: Experience as a Lead or a Senior QA who has already taken the initiative in process building.
• Technical Excellence:
  • Deep knowledge of iOS and Android platforms.
  • Proficiency with Unity.
  • Experience in implementing test automation.
  • Competency in at least one programming language.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate routine tasks.
• Communication Mastery: Ability to clearly articulate your position, engage in constructive debate, and find compromises with developers and producers.
• Proactivity & Autonomy: We won’t tell you what to do - we expect you to arrive with an audit and a solid plan of action.
