Licensing and Regulatory Specialist

About the Position

We are seeking a Licensing and Regulatory Specialist with 1-3 years of experience in legal roles within fintech, payments, or i-gaming industries to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Contract Review and Compliance:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, including merchant service agreements, software license agreements, payment service agreements (with PSPs), NDAs, and service agreements.
  • Drafting and updating Terms & Conditions, AML/KYC policies.
  • Support basic AML/KYC compliance review in the context of merchant and PSP onboarding.
  • Ensure contracts comply with internal policies and applicable laws.

• Contract Registry Management:

  • Maintain various internal contract registries.
  • Update and revise internal standards for registry management.

• Communication with other internal legal teams:

  • Negotiate and resolve cross-team tasks.

Requirements

• Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) is required.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a legal role within fintech, payments, or i-gaming industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract law.

• Hard Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of contract law and the ability to draft and review complex legal documents (English law).
  • Understanding of payment industry business models (PSPs, aggregators, merchants) and basic AML/KYC principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide practical legal solutions.
  • Commitment to internal policies compliance with the ability to question and improve them.
  • Familiarity with internal IT-tools: Asana, Jira, Confluence, Miro, Slack.
  • English language level B2-C1.

• Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, especially under pressure mitigating and avoiding conflicts.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
