About the Position
1084710 Linux-Workstation Experte (m/w/d)
SOLCOM GmbH is seeking a Linux-Workstation Expert to provide 2nd/3rd-Level-Support for Linux-based workstation environments in research and development. This role can be performed remotely or on-site in Böblingen, Germany.
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd/3rd-Level-Support for Linux-based workstation environments in research and development.
- Analyze and resolve complex issues related to RHEL, hardware, virtualization, networks, and software installations.
- Perform workstation configurations.
- Create technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides.
Requirements
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Extensive experience in Linux troubleshooting and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of network security.
- Proficiency in Visual Studio.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Excellent English language skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM).
- Experience with Git and Bitbucket.
