Livestream Operator (freelance)

About the Position

We are looking for a hands-on Livestream Operator (freelance) to support our Live Commerce team. In this role, you will help set up studio equipment, assist with live operations and camera work, and manage essential post-shoot file workflows. If you are organized, tech-savvy, and eager to dive into both live broadcasting and digital video production, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance in setting up the studio and platforms for live shows and in video production shoots (applies to offsite shoots)
• Ensuring all files and programs are prepared prior to the live stream
• Assist in live operations and camera work during live shows
• Organizing, grouping, and dumping footage after the shoot
• Managing the files of the video production shoot
• Assist in monitoring the studio and equipment (the in and out of the resources)
• Other administrative work as needed

Requirements

• Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with live streaming platforms, studio equipment setup, and operating video cameras.
• File Management: Strong organizational skills with experience handling, transferring, and backing up large video footage files (data dumping).
• Reliability: High attention to detail to ensure all files, programs, and gear are prepped and ready before going live.
• Flexibility: Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments, assist with offsite shoots, and handle administrative tasks as needed.
