Machine Test Tech

About the Position

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Machine Test Tech to work with a leading company in the industrial heating and forging sector in Madison Heights. This role involves testing complete induction systems, power supplies, and mechanical systems, both onsite and occasionally at customer locations. It offers a unique opportunity to transition into a Service Technician role after gaining product expertise through training.

Shift Patterns

• 7:00am to 4:00pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Pay Rates

• $30.00 - $32.00 USD hourly

Responsibilities

• Read test schedules, work orders, manuals, and wiring diagrams to determine testing procedures.
• Repair electrical equipment, components, and systems for industrial use.
• Connect units to test equipment and utilities such as power, water, air, and hydraulics.
• Troubleshoot controls, instruments, and systems for new industrial applications.
• Maintain test department records, including reports, calibration logs, and service notes.

Requirements

• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems for machines
• More than 1 year of electrical repair systems experience
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Demonstrate job tenure for more than a year at past employments
• Associates Degree in a related field OR more than 1-2 years of related Electrical Technician experience and/or training
