About the Position

We are seeking a Manager / Managerka Rozwoju Nowych Produktów i Technologii Żywności (NPD) to lead innovation in our food production processes. This role is pivotal in managing the entire process of developing new dishes and products, from concept and recipe development to production implementation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire process of developing new dishes and products, from concept and recipe development to production implementation.
• Initiate new products and optimize existing dishes in the current portfolio.
• Plan priorities, schedules, and resources for NPD projects.
• Coordinate the development of recipes, product specifications, and technological assumptions.
• Organize trials, tests, tastings, and pilot productions.
• Scale recipes from the testing phase to mass production in the Szymanów plant.
• Validate production processes and determine technological parameters, including weight, temperature, times, and sequence of stages.
• Ensure product repeatability and process stability after production implementation.
• Monitor implemented products and introduce necessary technological corrections.
• Create, update, and standardize technological documentation, recipes, and data in the ERP system.
• Ensure product compliance with quality requirements, regulations, and food safety standards in collaboration with the Quality Department.
• Consider raw material availability, technological capabilities of the plant, and cost assumptions during product development.
• Identify needs for new equipment, technologies, and changes in production processes.
• Manage a team of technologists, set goals, and develop team members' competencies.
• Monitor progress, costs, risks, and timeliness of ongoing implementations.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, Investments, Business Continuity, and Continuous Improvement areas.
• Implement improvements that increase production quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Higher education, preferably in fields related to food technology, human nutrition, biotechnology, or related areas.
• Experience in NPD, R&D, food technology, or product implementation.
• Experience in leading new product development projects from concept to mass production.
• Very good knowledge of technological processes used in food production.
• Experience in conducting technological trials, validating processes, and scaling recipes.
• Ability to create and oversee technological documentation, recipes, and product specifications.
• Experience in team management, goal setting, and employee competency development.
• Practical approach to solving technological, quality, and process problems.
• Developed leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Production, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, Investments, and Continuous Improvement teams.
• Focus on quality, standardization, cost-effectiveness, and result responsibility.
• Experience in dietary catering, ready-made meal production, or the convenience food industry is welcome, as well as knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365.
