Manager Productie

About the Position

Humangest Group is currently recruiting a Manager Productie in Bistrița-Năsăud for one of our clients, a company with over 17 years of experience in the market.

Responsibilities

• Planning and forecasting production in the short, medium, and long term based on orders, equipment capacity, and staff availability;
• Estimating the need for raw materials and consumables and communicating the requirement to the Procurement department;
• Setting production priorities and adjusting the plan according to urgent orders or changes;
• Coordinating the entire production flow, from pre-production and printing to finishing, cutting, sorting, and packaging;
• Organizing shifts and assigning staff to machines and positions to ensure the continuity of operations;
• Participating in the recruitment and selection of production staff;
• Monitoring performance indicators such as productivity, rework, material losses, and production times;
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer specifications, as well as managing non-conformities and complaints;
• Managing the production budget and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvement;
• Implementing continuous improvement measures for production processes;
• Collaborating with the Maintenance department for planning revisions and reducing unplanned downtime;
• Preparing reports on production plan completion, performance indicators, and costs;
• Ensuring compliance with OSH, PSI, and environmental protection standards in the production area.

Requirements

• Higher education degree;
• 10 years of experience in production, with a significant part in managerial positions;
• Relevant experience in production planning and forecasting, capacity management, equipment loading, and material requirement estimation;
• Experience in directly coordinating large teams of operators, including in organized shift work;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
• Leadership, organization, and team coordination skills;
• Analytical thinking, results orientation, and performance indicators;
• Planning, problem anticipation, and quick decision-making abilities;
• Communication and conflict management skills.
