About the Position
We are looking for a Managing Director to lead the Romanian operations of a leading multinational company specializing in material handling, warehouse automation, and supply chain solutions.
This is not a traditional Managing Director role. It is a unique opportunity to build and grow a business from the ground up, combining the entrepreneurial spirit of a start-up with the support, stability, and resources of an international market leader.
As the first Managing Director of the Romanian branch, you will have full ownership of the business-from establishing the local organization and building the team to driving commercial growth and ensuring long-term profitability.

Requirements
- At least 10 years of leadership experience in Sales, Service, or General Management.
- Successfully led organizations of 40+ employees.
- Experience in industrial, OEM, material handling, or related B2B environments.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and enjoys building businesses rather than simply managing them.
- Customer-oriented, commercially driven, and comfortable being close to the market.
- Hands-on leader who inspires people and delivers results.
- Fluent in English (German or Hungarian is a plus).
