About the Position
We are looking for two skilled and proactive Manual QA Engineers to join our team and contribute to a fast-growing fintech product in Lviv, Ukraine. Our team is currently in an active development stage and we are expanding our QA department.
Project
Our fintech platform allows users to earn instant cashback, pay bills, and manage finances through digital and virtual cards. It integrates with multiple payment providers to ensure secure and seamless transactions. The product focuses on making everyday spending rewarding, safe, and convenient, while maintaining high performance across web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the software development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality at all stages.
- Write, review, and maintain clear testing plans, test cases, and related documentation.
- Develop and implement effective testing strategies, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and up-to-date test suites.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing to validate functionality and uncover hidden issues.
- Identify, report, and prioritize reproducible defects with clear, actionable steps.
- Work closely with developers to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Cooperate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to improve product quality.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, accessible, and aligned with the application’s current state.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of Manual QA experience.
- Solid expertise in web-based and mobile application testing.
- Good understanding of web and mobile technologies.
- Proficiency in testing REST APIs and other web services.
- Experience with performance and security testing.
- Understanding of industry best practices around QA and testing.
- Familiarity with the latest QA tools and technologies.
- Proven ability to create clear and structured test documentation.
- Understanding and hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum ceremonies.
- Commitment to continuous learning and ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Upper-Intermediate level of English (written and spoken).
