About the Role

The role involves testing applications in the retail banking sector. The individual in this position will independently plan and execute functional, UAT, and regression tests, prepare test documentation, and collaborate with the business, analysts, and development team.

Responsibilities

Plan the scope and execution of tests
Execute functional, UAT, and regression tests
Perform manual and automated testing of applications
Verify software compliance with technical and business requirements
Create test scenario plans and test cases
Record and detail detected errors
Analyze and report test results
Verify fixes provided by the development team
Create and update test documentation
Collaborate with the business client and project team
Collaborate with other testing teams and external vendors

Requirements

Ability to independently plan the course of tests and the scope of UAT and regression tests
Experience in IT solution testing and system quality control
Knowledge of testing principles, test procedures, methodologies, and the testing process
Experience in creating detailed test cases based on requirements and documentation
Experience in testing web applications
Experience in projects related to retail banking
Knowledge of banking and brokerage applications
Experience in preparing test documentation
Practical knowledge of HP QC, JIRA, Katalon, ALM, Zephyr, and DevTools
Experience with JIRA and Confluence

Nice to Have

Ability to prepare automated tests
Knowledge of SQL queries
ISTQB Foundation Level certification
Knowledge of Agile testing methodologies
