About the Position
Material Management Manager
At Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, we are seeking a Material Management Manager for our Wichita, Kansas location. This role is part of Spirit Defense, an independent supplier to the defense and space marketplace. The Material Management Manager will integrate disciplines from more than one Materials Management and Transportation job family, applying independent, specialized technical expertise to support a wide range of business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Managing CSR's (Customer Support Representatives), Material Analysts, and Material CAM's (Control Account Manager) across multiple Defense Programs
- Leading and directing gatekeeping activities for MMAS (Material Management Accounting System) compliance
- Providing general program leadership support
- Developing BOE's (Basis of Estimates) for new programs
- Reviewing and adjusting material on Inventory Reserves
- Supporting material and system troubleshooting for compliance and customer requirements
- Assisting the program change board for material changes and storing needs
- Managing multiple priorities and effectively working on simultaneous assignments in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access (U.S. Citizenship required)
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- ERP Experience (Supply Chain, Accounting, Manufacturing, or Inventory)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Knowledge of EVM (Earned Value Management)
- Experience with SAP
- MMAS governance and compliance

- Competitive salary range: $92,500 - $141,850
