About the Position

We are seeking a Cisco Network Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise-class networks.

Responsibilities

• Performing installation, configuration, commissioning, and integration of enterprise-class networks;
• Configuring and maintaining Cisco and other vendor network equipment;
• Conducting surveys of the customer's existing infrastructure;
• Participating in meetings with clients to determine technical requirements for projects, implementation processes, testing, and deployment of solutions;
• Participating in the preparation of architectural solutions;
• Developing documentation;
• Developing network optimization recommendations;
• Implementing new products in the network infrastructure;
• Support and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Cisco and other vendor hardware and software;
• Network technology knowledge at the Cisco CCNP/CCNA level;
• Experience with Cisco products;
• Understanding of network infrastructure: DNS, DHCP, NAT, routing, switching, WiFi, Firewall;
• Understanding of technologies and protocols: TCP/IP, VPN (IPsec, SSL), L2/L3, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, NAT, DHCP, QoS, VLAN, Trunk, STP, RSTP;
• Experience with VMware vSphere virtualization products;
• Experience with Linux;
• Scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell) – will be a plus;
• CCNA, CCNP certifications – will be a plus;
• Experience with Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco DNA – will be a plus;
• Willingness to learn;
• English – knowledge at the level of understanding technical literature (pre-intermediate and above).
