Key Responsibilities

Building an effective statistical reporting control system: Implementing a risk-oriented independent control system in accordance with NBU requirements, ensuring systemic control and timely detection of errors before submitting reports to the regulator;
Ensuring the quality of regulatory reporting: Conducting independent control of the timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of regulatory reporting before submitting it to the NBU;
Effective data quality control: Identifying, analyzing, and eliminating systemic causes of errors in regulatory reporting;
Compliance reporting preparation: Forming quarterly compliance risk status reports and ensuring their timely submission to management bodies and the NBU;
Enhancing the maturity of the regulatory reporting system: Developing interactions with data-owning departments, implementing early detection and risk minimization processes that affect the quality of regulatory reporting;
Increasing the level of control automation: Implementing control procedures, checklists, automated checks, and analytical tools to enhance control processes and minimize the risk of errors.

At least 5 years of experience in compliance, internal control, internal audit, risk management, regulatory reporting, or another second-line-of-defense function in a financial institution/bank;
Practical experience in organizing or conducting regulatory (statistical) reporting control, including verifying its timeliness, completeness, and accuracy;
Experience with NBU regulations and practical application of regulatory requirements;
Experience in analyzing large datasets, identifying causes of errors, and assessing their impact on regulatory reporting;
Experience in developing, implementing, or improving control procedures and internal processes;
Experience in preparing analytical materials, conclusions, reports, or statements for management or governing bodies;
Experience in organizing interactions with business units to address identified deficiencies and monitor the implementation of corrective actions;
Experience in managing a team or coordinating the work of employees;
Practical experience in interacting with the NBU during audits, inquiries, or regulatory reporting submissions.

Experience in preparing quarterly compliance reports for management and the National Bank of Ukraine;
Certification in compliance, internal audit, risk management, or internal control (ICA, CAMS, CIA, DipIFR, or other professional qualifications);
Practical experience in assessing the impact of errors in regulatory reporting on regulatory capital, economic norms, financial indicators, or other indicators used by the NBU for supervision.
