About the Position
We are seeking a skilled NPI / Costing Engineer to join our automotive production team, focusing on cost estimation and optimization.

This position is for a Western production company active in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Estimate product cost, including material, labor, and equipment, based on customers’ RFQs
- Supervise the process of new product implementation from business award till serial production phase
- Prepare production process documentation
- Identify and lead cost-saving initiatives for new and existing projects
- Support value engineering activities and provide recommendations to improve profitability within the cross-functional cost optimization team
- Provide cost monitoring and gap analysis for assigned product groups
- Develop standard production time tables based on Methods Time Management
- Support continuous improvement processes for costing tools and methodology
Requirements
- Proficiency in cost estimation
- Experience in process supervision
- Ability to prepare detailed documentation
- Skills in identifying and leading cost-saving initiatives
- Knowledge in value engineering and profitability improvement
- Expertise in cost monitoring and gap analysis
- Experience in developing production time tables
- Familiarity with continuous improvement processes
