About the Position

Operations Engineer mit Schwerpunkt Monitoring (m/w/d)

Medialine EuroTrade AG is looking for an Operations Engineer specializing in Monitoring to join our team. This role involves both remote work and on-site customer visits.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring projects independently, both remotely and on-site at customer locations
• Develop and implement monitoring strategies and solutions
• Support the presales process through presentations and customer workshops
• Administer and further develop our monitoring stack
• Program various checks and plugins for our monitoring systems
• Administer, standardize, and virtualize monitoring processes and services

Requirements

• Completed studies in the IT field or comparable education
• Experience with Cloud-Logging and Full-Stack-Monitoring services, preferably using tools like Azure Monitor, Splunk, PRTG, Elastic Search, and Grafana
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash
• Good knowledge of Linux and Windows
• Basic knowledge in Datacenter Infrastructure
• Nice to Have: Understanding of multi-tier web platform architecture
• Nice to Have: Understanding of business continuity principles
• Nice to Have: Hands-on experience with the implementation and optimization of monitoring systems
• Nice to Have: Familiarity with DevOps and agile concepts
• Independence and teamwork
• Flexibility
• Excellent German and good English skills
