About the Position

We are seeking a Payroll & Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team in Lisbon. As a member of our Finance & HR Department, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and executing daily operations in several key areas, including Payroll, Treasury, Collections, and Accounting. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with financial expertise, a critical mindset, and the adaptability required in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

Organize, classify, and post all Cashflow documents accurately.
Assist in payroll processing and other HR administrative tasks.
Support monthly and yearly accounting closing processes.
Maintain control over treasury activities and perform bank reconciliations.
Assist in managing customer collections.
Provide support for recruitment efforts when needed.
Prepare information for decision-making support.
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information, minimizing errors.

Requirements

1-2 years of experience in similar roles and activities.
Knowledge of payroll, treasury, and accounting practices is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
Energetic, friendly, and positive-minded.
Resilient and solution-oriented.
