Job description
About the Position
IONOS is seeking a Performance Marketing Specialist to drive US customer acquisition efficiency, focusing on CAC and new-customer inflow. This role is pivotal in owning the entire journey from the ad unit to the conversion and in scaling new channels such as TikTok, Meta, Instagram, YouTube pre-roll, podcast, CTV, and creator/affiliate.
About IONOS
At IONOS, we shape the digital future for more than 6.2 million customers worldwide. As Europe's leading hosting provider and a pioneer in independent cloud solutions, we are building next-generation infrastructure – from sovereign cloud architectures and high-performance GPU clusters to integrated AI automation tools. Our US Commercial team's mandate is to grow IONOS in North America by finding and scaling new, high-efficiency customer-acquisition channels.
Responsibilities
- Own the CAC/inflow number: Move blended CAC toward target while hitting inflow goals, channel by channel.
- Manage the full ad-unit-to-conversion loop: Brief and produce creative (image, video, carousels), set up and buy channels, coordinate landing pages and offers, and measure impact end to end.
- Build out new channels: Stand up and scale TikTok, Meta, IG, YouTube pre-roll, podcast, CTV, and creator/affiliate with short, disciplined test loops.
- Utilize an AI-first production and analysis engine: Use generative AI for creative and copy, and LLMs/analytics for daily optimization.
- Drive the content workbench: Scripting/storytelling, briefing creators, and turning their output into testable paid assets.
- Execute cross-Atlantic: Partner with central German teams and the Website A/B PO on landing pages and conversion.
Requirements
- Experience: 3–6 years in performance/growth marketing, ideally direct-to-consumer / eCommerce or affiliate.
- Owner mentality: Treat the budget like it's your own money and the outcome like it's your own business.
- AI-first operator: Use LLMs and generative/creative tools to produce, analyze, and optimize.
- Full-funnel fluency: Comfortable across creative, channel buying, landing pages, offers, and analytics.
- Player-coach: Hands-on yourself, but able to raise the bar for early-career teammates and serve as a sounding board.
- Matrix-comfortable: Get things done across teams and time zones without formal authority.
- Location: Open and eager to work in our Center City Philadelphia office at least 3X a week.
- Travel: Willing to travel internationally on occasion to meet global colleagues, learn, and share ideas.
We Offer
- Competitive salary
- Opportunity to grow within a global company
- Hands-on coaching from the GM
- Agile and fast-paced work environment
- Continuous, two-way feedback
