About the Position

MyHome Guardian (https://www.myhomeguardian.com/) is a home protection solution that connects homeowners and businesses with leading products and contractors to enhance security and fortify homes, ensuring effective marketing and operational results. This is a branch of the successful MyHomeQuote platform, one of the market leaders in lead generation in the home improvement sector in the USA. We leverage the company's expertise, technology, and marketing capabilities, but develop a separate product line focused specifically on home protection solutions.

MyHome Guardian generates demand among homeowners in the USA through Google, Facebook, TikTok, native advertising, and organic channels, promoting modern protection services: impact shutters, ballistic screens, safe rooms, RF drone detection sensors, and next-generation protective solutions.

We invite a PHP Developer (Symfony) who wants to work remotely, influence technical decisions, and join the development of a large-scale platform in the US market.

In this role, you will:

70–80%: development of new functionality, R&D, system optimization
20%: support and refactoring

Responsibilities

Development of the backend in PHP 8.2 + Symfony 5.4.3;
Design and optimization of MySQL 8.4;
Integration with internal and external APIs;
Performance optimization, caching, and working with Redis;
Creation of Symfony console commands;
Working with Docker (containerization of services);
Working with remote servers: SSH, deployment, logging;
Ensuring code security: XSS, SQL injection, CSRF;

Requirements

3+ years of commercial experience in PHP development;
2+ years of confident experience with Symfony;
Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, and responsibly complete tasks;
Willingness to suggest improvements, optimizations, and participate in product development;
Communicativeness and ability to interact with the team.
