PHP Engineer

We are seeking a passionate PHP Engineer to join our development teams on specific client projects. Responsibilities

• Web application development and implementation: Develop new, scalable applications using PHP and frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Maintaining and improving existing systems: Optimize and refactor existing code, working with MySQL and other databases.
• REST API development and implementation: Create and maintain RESTful APIs that communicate with external services.
• Collaboration with the development team: Work closely with frontend developers to integrate HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensuring code quality: Write unit tests and participate in regular code reviews to maintain high code quality.
• Agile development: Work in an agile environment, adapting to change quickly and responding to new challenges.

Requirements

• PHP experience: At least 3-4 years of experience with PHP and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Frameworks: Experience with frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or others.
• Languages: Advanced English for daily communication, working with the IS, official company communication, and documentation. Fluent Czech or Slovak for local team communication.
• Databases: Understanding of working with databases such as MySQL or others.
• Version control: Experience with Git.
• Agile methodology: Experience working in an agile environment.

Nice to Have

• REST APIs: Experience with REST APIs to integrate with other services.
• JavaScript: Knowledge of JavaScript, which will help when working with the frontend team.
• DevOps: Understanding of DevOps tools like Docker or Jenkins.
