About the Position
Senior Java Engineer

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create high-quality web applications
- Write clear, maintainable, and testable code with a focus on good testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and design patterns
- Participate in code reviews
- Work in an Agile development environment
Requirements
- Practical experience with SW development and design at a senior level (5+ years of development experience).
- Experience in banking and financial institutions.
- Practical experience with microservice architecture.
- Knowledge of Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
- Practical experience with creating unit tests. Diligence in code review.
- Framework knowledge and practical skills with Jenkins, UCD/ArgoCD, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS cloud.
- Knowledge of databases/database development (PostgreSQL).
- Experience with communication/integration patterns.
- Experience with messaging systems (Artemis, Kafka).
- Experience with SW design/SW architecture.
- Ability to work independently, but also the ability to collaborate and communicate well with others.
- Czech or Slovak language at an excellent level is essential, English at least on technical level.
