About the Position

Агенція економічного розвитку PPV шукає Радника/Радницю з питань політик на повну зайнятість у Львові.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of projects on policy development and promotion:

  • Preparation of analytical materials – research, reports, recommendations, etc.;
  • Coordination of policy development processes – work with stakeholders, facilitation (moderation) of working groups, public discussions, etc.;
  • Planning and implementation of advocacy campaigns (in partnership);
  • Search for experts, contractors, and establishment of partnerships.

• Implementation of projects on development of institutional models:

  • Coordination of development of institutional models of development, including intersectoral (hubs, centers of competence, development agencies, etc.) or development of institutional strategies, within PPV projects – formation of expert teams, organization of the process, etc.;
  • Coordination of preparation of reports on relevant projects.

• Development of the strategic direction "Institutional Development" of the agency:

  • Formation of the development strategy of the direction in PPV, expansion of the project portfolio and team of the direction;
  • Positioning of PPV's expertise and capabilities (speeches, columns, involvement in strategic initiatives, etc.);
  • Participation in writing grant applications;
  • Search and selection of analysts, junior analysts, lawyers, advocacy campaign managers, etc.

• Inclusion in the development of the agency:

  • Planning and prioritization of projects, time for task implementation, planning of strategic direction team tasks;
  • Conducting internal development events (presentations, trainings, etc.);
  • Work with internal systems, impact assessment of PPV activities, etc.

Required Competencies

• Understanding of the policy development cycle at various levels (national, regional, local), understanding of the institutional landscape of Ukraine and the European Union.
• Proficiency in policy development tools (understanding of tools, ability to form policy scenarios, formation of policy selection criteria, etc.).
• Skills in preparing analytical materials (structured texts of various formats), communication skills (presentations, facilitation of meetings, participation in discussion meetings, etc.).
• Skills in immersion in the context – ability to search and analyze expert information, ability to identify root causes of phenomena, ability to understand situations, sectors, problems, etc.
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English.

• Multitasking – willingness to participate in several projects simultaneously (usually up to 3 parallel projects).

• Proactivity – initiating new ideas, formats, solutions for projects, attracting new clients.
• Self-organization – prioritization of tasks, time management, setting expectations.
• Willingness to work in a team.
• Interest in the company's work topics – local economic development, institutional development, business development and maturity.

We Offer

• Full-time employment in the PPV office in Lviv (Business Hub), possibility to work remotely (partially).
• Market salary – 55,000 UAH (with agreed performance indicators).
• Probation period – 2 months (salary – 30,000 UAH).
