Your Tasks

• Advising insurance companies on the design and implementation of modern policy and portfolio systems.

• Analyzing, optimizing, and digitizing business processes throughout the entire insurance lifecycle.

• Collecting, structuring, and consolidating technical requirements from various areas.

• Designing solutions for quotation generation, application capture, policy issuance, contract changes, renewals, and portfolio management.

• Supporting the introduction of new products and tariffs, as well as the adjustment of existing product models.

• Designing and managing integrations between policy systems, billing solutions, document management systems, data warehouses, and other surrounding systems.

• Assisting with data migrations from legacy systems and ensuring the quality of migration and transformation processes.

• Moderating workshops and coordinating technical discussions with clients, departments, and technical teams.

• Participating in transformation programs to replace or modernize core insurance systems.

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in IT, technical, or transformation projects in the insurance sector.

• Deep understanding of the working methods of insurance companies and their core processes.

• Experience with policy or portfolio systems and related business processes.

• Knowledge in at least some of the following areas:

  • Quotation and application

  • Policy issuance

  • Contract management

  • Product and tariff management

  • Underwriting

  • Renewal and portfolio processes

  • Collections and billing

  • Partner and broker processes

• Experience in analyzing and specifying business requirements.

• Ability to document and communicate complex business relationships in an understandable manner.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent German and English language skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with leading policy systems or insurance platforms such as Guidewire PolicyCenter, AdInsure, Faktor Zehn, msg.Insurance Suite, Novum, Sapiens, or similar solutions. Internal project experience includes extensive PolicyCenter implementations, policy migrations, and product modeling.

• Knowledge of product modeling, pricing, and product configuration.

• Experience with policy migrations and data migrations of large contract portfolios. Internal references include migrations of several million contracts.

• Knowledge of BiPRO, GDV, or other market standards.

• Experience with underwriting workbenches and digital underwriting processes.

• Experience with APIs, service architectures, and integration platforms.

• Knowledge of modern workflow, BPM, or automation solutions.

• Experience with AI-supported solutions in the insurance environment.
