Pre-Sales Consultant CAM

About the Position

As a Pre-Sales Consultant CAM, you will be a technical partner in the sales process for CAM solutions. You will present software, analyze manufacturing requirements, design customer-specific application scenarios, and support evaluation phases-with the goal of convincing customers through technical expertise and practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Technical Customer Consultation: Analyze the requirements and processes of potential CAM customers, advise on suitable machining strategies, automation possibilities, and interfaces, and develop customer-specific CAM solution approaches based on existing product portfolios.
• Product Presentations & Live Demos: Conduct product presentations and live demonstrations.
• Sales Support & Quotation Preparation: Provide sales support and prepare quotations.
• Support of Test Phases & Feedback to Product Development: Support test phases and provide feedback to product development.
• Close Collaboration with CAM, Postprocessor, and Support Teams: Work closely with CAM, postprocessor, and support teams.

Requirements

• Communication Skills: You explain complex technical content clearly, structured, and appropriately-from CNC programmers to the executive board.
• Technical Understanding: You understand CAM processes in detail and can present, simulate, and argue them in a practical manner. You think holistically-from the component to the tool path to the machine connection.
• Customer Contact: You enjoy contact with customers, understand what they really need-even between the lines-and find individual, realistic solution paths.
• Travel: You enjoy traveling and being on the road-whether at the customer's site, at trade shows, or in workshops.
