About the Role

As a Sales Engineer, you will be the bridge between our clients and our Decision Intelligence platform. You will support Enterprise clients from Retail, Logistics, and Manufacturing from the initial needs analysis through the technical deep dive to the successful Proof of Value, ensuring that this leads to a successful client project.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales team in presales, qualify opportunities, and translate client challenges into concrete solution approaches
• Conduct discovery workshops, demos, and technical deep dives, bringing together business and tech perspectives
• Manage the Proof of Value from goal definition through execution to result presentation, converting it into a client project
• Advise decision-makers on supply chain processes in Retail, Logistics, and Manufacturing, demonstrating where Decision Intelligence has the greatest leverage
• Build reliable relationships with relevant stakeholders and remain a point of contact even after the deal
• Work closely with Product, Data Science, and Sales, and incorporate client feedback directly into the platform's further development
• Keep an eye on the market, competition, and new technologies, thereby sharpening our positioning
• Develop our presales and PoV methodology to make it faster and better with each project

Requirements

• Completed studies in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of experience in an advisory role with clients, such as Consultant, Solution or Presales Consultant, Business Analyst, Customer Success Manager, or Project Manager in the Enterprise and B2B environment
• Experience in making complex topics understandable for decision-makers and conducting conversations up to C-Level
• Technical understanding: You have an understanding of how to implement technical concepts with modern LLM technology. You have worked with tools like Claude Code, Codex, or similar, built your own apps, understand how data, models, and interfaces interact, and can discuss them
• Affinity for data and databases (e.g., Snowflake), basic knowledge in statistics and machine learning is a plus
• Experience in the supply chain environment is a plus
• Experience in a B2B software or product company is a plus
• Fluent in German (DACH focus) and English (international team)
