About the Role

As a Technical Consultant, you will be the bridge between our customers' domains and the paretos platform. You will understand how decisions are truly made in Supply Chain, Finance, or Operations – and ensure that our solution connects precisely there. You will spend most of your time with the team in our Heidelberg office, but you will also be on-site for workshops and go-lives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery meetings and workshops with Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams and C-Levels, guiding them from the initial idea to real-time operation.
• Translate business requirements into specific configurations on the paretos platform.
• Analyze customer data, check its quality, and prepare it for forecasting and planning use cases.
• Support the implementation: training, documentation, and point of contact for the first weeks after launch.
• Ensure that results are integrated into the customer workflow, not just visible in the dashboard.
• Collect structured customer feedback and bring it back to the product team.
• Work AI-assisted: analyses, presentations, and documentation are created using agents and LLMs – and we will show you how this works in detail.

• Replenishment & Inventory Optimization: from demand forecasting to automated order suggestions.
• Planning Processes: How results from the platform are integrated into daily customer decisions.
• Demand Forecasting: Which drivers really matter, and what data do we need for this.

Your Profile

• At least two years of experience in a customer-facing, analytical role – such as consulting, business analysis, solution or implementation consulting, or in-house project work.
• Enjoy customer and project work: changing contexts, different stakeholders, and real responsibility for the outcome.
• Strong data affinity: You dive deep into data sets, recognize causal chains, and want to understand processes in detail. You have SQL basics, and Python or a similar tool is a plus.
• Curiosity about AI: You already use LLMs in your daily work and want to learn how to build productive solutions with them. We do not expect deep prior experience, but willingness to learn.
• High level of self-responsibility and the ability to navigate complex organizations confidently, even with ambiguity.
• Clear, convincing communication, both technical and non-technical, with a low ego.
• Fluent in German (native level) or C1, and fluent in English.
• Bonus: Supply Chain / FMCG, Finance / Controlling, ERP or BI systems, S&OP processes.
