About the Position

We are seeking a Principal Engineering Manager to lead a critical engineering area and raise the bar for how we build and deliver products. This is a senior leadership role for someone who combines strong engineering judgment with a deep sense of ownership.

Responsibilities

Leading a team of engineers and supporting them through clear direction, context, and feedback.
Partnering with Product and Design to shape solutions from the earliest stages.
Owning delivery from problem definition to execution, ensuring clarity, alignment, and momentum.
Driving predictable execution through thoughtful planning, realistic expectations, and transparency around progress and risks.
Maintaining a high bar for engineering quality, scalability, and maintainability.
Contributing to broader engineering improvements through experience, collaboration, and strong leadership.

Requirements

5+ years of experience leading engineering teams in a product company.
Totally 10+ years of background in software engineering, including software engineer/developer roles.
Comfortable designing and operating distributed, service-oriented systems.
Experience working in both back-end and front-end.
Open to hands-on tasks such as coding, conducting code reviews, and making architectural decisions.
A strong track record of delivering complex products or systems in a fast-moving environment.
Ability to operate comfortably in both technical and product discussions.
Strong ownership mindset and ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
Experience partnering closely with Product and Design.
Clear communication skills and a practical, execution-oriented approach to leadership.
