Job description
About the Position
We’re searching for a talented Product Design Lead who thrives on creating intuitive, thoughtful, and visually stunning interfaces. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just design but also helps build a strong design culture, mentors teammates, and truly understands the art and science behind user experience. If you’re ready to take on exciting challenges, influence features from the ground up, and lead the creation of experiences that leave a lasting impression, we’d love to hear from you 🚀
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the Product Design team through hiring, onboarding, mentorship, regular 1:1s, performance review feedback, and personal goals;
- Plan and manage the team’s workload, balancing priorities, capacity, timelines, and business needs;
- Improve design workflows, team rituals, review processes, and collaboration practices with Product and Engineering;
- Review designers’ work, provide actionable feedback, and help the team solve complex product, UX, and interaction challenges;
- Drive the end-to-end design process: from discovery, research, and problem framing to polished, dev-ready solutions, including UX hypotheses, design-side research, usability testing, competitor analysis, and data-informed improvements;
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to shape product solutions, clarify requirements, and align design priorities;
- Ensure high-quality and consistent UX/UI standards across products, including flows, edge cases, states, transitions, and responsive behavior;
- Maintain and evolve the design system, guidelines, and design documentation across products;
- Validate implemented solutions before release and support design quality throughout the development cycle;
- Stay hands-on and contribute directly to key product design tasks when needed;
- Keep the team up to date with industry trends, user psychology, UX patterns, and design best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Product Design (UX/UI), preferably in product companies;
- 2+ years of experience leading a Product Design team, including hiring, onboarding, regular 1:1s, performance reviews, feedback sessions, and career development;
- Strong hands-on product design expertise and willingness to combine team leadership with individual design contribution;
- Portfolio with at least 3 projects demonstrating strong web and mobile interface design, clear UX thinking, and business impact;
- Advanced Figma skills, including wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, FigJam, components, libraries, variables, and design systems;
- Strong understanding of typography, visual hierarchy, color theory, interaction patterns, responsive design, and UX/UI best practices;
- Experience planning and distributing design workload, estimating design efforts, and managing priorities across multiple initiatives;
- Experience conducting or participating in user research, usability testing, competitor analysis, and translating insights into design decisions;
- Experience establishing design processes, running design reviews/critiques, and improving team collaboration;
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints when making design decisions;
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, with confidence presenting design decisions to cross-functional stakeholders;
- Understanding of front-end development principles and the software development lifecycle;
- Proactive leadership mindset with strong ownership, strategic thinking, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the Steam trade system and skins market;
- Gaming experience (CS2, Dota2, Rust) would be a big advantage;
- Domain experience in GameDev, Fintech, iGaming, or digital goods marketplaces;
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
We Offer
- Fully Remote Work: Grind at home or level up from a beachside café - we don’t care where you are, as long as the mission gets done.
- Agile Working Schedule: Night owl or early bird? No problem. Work the hours that suit you best - just sync with your manager and team.
- Fair Compensation: We value our team, so we offer fair pay (plus sweet bonuses when you crush).
- Playing with Power: Your ideas matter. Pitch them, shape the product, and help redefine the gaming industry. Be the game-changer you’ve always wanted to be.
- Bye-Bye Bureaucracy: No one likes grinding through endless forms and red tape. We keep processes simple and efficient so you can focus on what matters.
- Development Boost: Whether it’s courses to level up your skills or new gear to enhance your setup, we’ve got your back. Let’s grow together!
- HRs That Actually Care: Our HR team is like a trusty healer: always there when you need help, ready to listen, and genuinely supportive.
- Free Space for Memes: Got a funny meme? Share it! We even have a dedicated meme chat for laughs and ridiculousness. Pro tip: come prepared! :)
- Team That’s Got Your Back: When something goes wrong, we don’t point fingers. We squad up, find the root of the problem, and fix it together. And if you miss a shot? We don’t blame - we help you reload and get back in the game.
About the Company
Hi! I’m the CPO, and I’m looking for a Product Design Lead who wants to have a real say in how products are shaped - not just make them look good. We need someone who can lead a strong design team, challenge product decisions, push our UX forward, and still jump into Figma when the problem calls for it. You’ll be close to the product, close to the people building it, and have plenty of room to rethink how we approach design, improve what’s already there, and set a higher bar for what comes next. We move fast, we’re open to being challenged, and we expect design to be an active part of product thinking - not the final step before development. If that sounds like your kind of role, let’s talk 😎

Spacers Reviews on Working in TS
I’ve been working at Trading Space as a Tech Product Manager, and honestly, it doesn’t feel like “just a job.” What I love most is that it’s not a company obsessed with processes, but a company that truly cares about people. The communication is amazing, the team is full of real experts, and everyone is so supportive and kind - total sweethearts!
Trading Space is a rare find where they understand that happy developers create better products. Here, they care about technological growth and personal comfort. You feel like a true professional. All of this creates an atmosphere of mutual respect and motivates you to do your best.
I’ve been working at the company - with some short breaks - since its very beginning. Over the years, I’ve witnessed incredible growth: the team has expanded, new products have been launched, and everyone has grown both professionally and personally. Most importantly, we’ve managed to preserve the warm and friendly atmosphere within the team.
There are companies where you just work, and there are companies where you live. And it's not hard work, not “oh God, it's Monday again,” but enjoyment, a cool atmosphere, and a team that's great to be with. I'm glad I 'm here!
I have been working at Trading Space for over 2 years, and looking back, I don’t regret a single minute spent in the company. At first, I was simply happy about the fully remote format, but I quickly realized that the company has an incredible number of advantages - from a friendly and supportive team, teambuilding events, courses, and lectures to constant bonuses for your contribution and sometimes just for being part of it. If you want to work, grow personally and professionally, and be part of something bigger than just a company for work experience, this is the perfect place.
