About the Position
Product Engineer (part-time 50–70%, remote)
We are seeking a skilled Product Engineer with expertise in .Net, Python, and AI/LLM integration to join our remote HR-tech team in Israel. This role focuses on end-to-end product ownership and offers a unique opportunity to work on a platform that improves interviewer skills, reduces bias, and connects hiring decisions to real post-hire outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of a live production platform, including backend services (Python,.Net), APIs, databases, and ASP.NET frontend applications (Razor/MVC).
- Design, implement, and test your own features end-to-end.
- Build and integrate AI-enabled workflows and LLM capabilities into production features.
- Understand existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and define engineering practices and standards.
- Decide whether customer needs should be implemented within the platform or as separate tools, and implement them accordingly.
- Implement features end-to-end, from design to deployment, with full ownership.
Requirements
- Proven experience shipping production systems, with work demonstrable via portfolio, code, or live products.
- Strong experience with Python and.NET backend development.
- Experience building and maintaining ASP.NET frontend applications (Razor/MVC).
- Ability to design and integrate APIs.
- Experience working with AWS infrastructure.
- Experience with application databases.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in production systems.
- Experience integrating AI or LLM capabilities into real products.
- Strong sense of end-to-end product ownership from idea to production.
- Advanced English (spoken, written, reading).
- Availability to participate in meetings with clients two evenings per week (US time zones).
