Product Manager I, Geo Roads and Safety Data

About the Position

We're seeking a Product Manager I, Geo Roads and Safety Data to join our team in Mountain View, CA, focusing on delivering scalable data products for search, navigation, and orientation use cases.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and operations to deliver scalable systems powered by AI and operations that provide detailed road-network, geometry, road-sign, and other attribute data for consumer and automotive use cases.
• Define enterprise-grade quality standards for core basemap data products, including roads, signs, and speed-limit data, to meet enterprise user needs in AI-powered services.
• Identify and integrate new data sources, including vehicle sensor observations, driving telemetry, user reports, and imagery, to maintain a fresh map of the real world.
• Drive prioritization and development of features that increase the level of detail in foundational roads and speed-limit products.
• Lead market research across consumer and automotive offerings to influence the data roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
• 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch, such as ideation through execution, end-to-end, or 0-to-1 work.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
• Experience deploying machine learning models in production, including quality evaluation and policy design.
• Experience with geospatial datasets or large, complex datasets.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage product roadmaps, and deliver high-quality products on schedule.
• Comfort with SQL, Python, and self-directed data analysis.
