Job description

About the Position

Join Luxoft's Production Control team as a Production Control Analyst to ensure smooth operation and availability of production systems and applications. The successful candidate will join the existing Production Control team and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and availability of our production systems and applications. Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, provide technical support, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and maintain high levels of system availability. The team currently covers a 24/7 support model.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth running of all automated production processes and the general well-being of main services.
  • Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests in a timely manner, troubleshooting technical issues and providing resolution or escalation as needed.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and support providers to resolve issues and escalate complex technical problems when necessary.
  • Coordinating and maintaining day-to-day batch processing and file transmission schedules to ensure standards, schedules, and service levels are maintained.
  • Maintain documentation of production processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure accurate and efficient support.

Requirements

  • Must have

    • 3+ years of relevant working experience
    • Proficiency in batch scheduling tools and systems (e.g. Autosys), with hands-on experience in job scheduling, monitoring, and automation.
    • Knowledge of SQL and database concepts for querying and analyzing application data.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation tools for system administration tasks.
    • Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, system monitoring, and incident management.
  • Nice to have

    • Banking / Financial services domain experience.
    • Good Communicator, adaptable, needs to be able to work well alone and as part of a team.
    • Reliable, conscientious, & accurate individual.
    • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic and challenging environment.
    • Ability to work/ self-manage without guidance.
