Python Django Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Python Django Developer with advanced experience to join our remote team, building scalable web applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services
• Write clean, maintainable code
• Collaborate with frontend team

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Python programming
• Advanced knowledge of Python and design patterns and architectural principles
• Experience in designing and implementing applications according to clean architecture principles
• Excellent knowledge of web frameworks (Django, Flask) and experience in building and designing APIs (DRF, FastAPI, Falcon)
• Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, ability to model data and optimize large databases
• Knowledge of application testing tools and experience in conducting testing strategies
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of application security issues
• In-depth experience working with Django Wagtail content management system
• Advanced proficiency in using Django Admin to manage complex application data
• Practical knowledge of asynchronous communication using RabbitMQ and Redis and experience in designing distributed architecture
• Advanced skills in working with Elasticsearch, including search optimization
• Knowledge of RDF technology and the ability to use Jena Fuseki for processing RDF data
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Metabase)
• Advanced knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD
• Knowledge and experience in administering HTTP server, e.g., Nginx, and optimizing its configuration
• Ability to coordinate work and mentor less experienced team members
• Ability to think analytically and make architectural decisions
• Practical ability to design architecture for complex systems based on known patterns such as Domain Driven Design, hexagonal architecture
• Proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence tools
