QA Automation Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software testing to join our global lottery solutions team, focusing on building robust QA testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement QA testing frameworks.
• Contribute to building short- and long-term QA automation roadmaps.
• Promote high-quality standards and ensure timely project completion.
• Mentor and support the growth of junior engineering team members.
• Collaborate effectively with onsite and remote teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and efficiency.
• Lead a small team of 2-3 automation testers.
• Deliver technical assistance for a small automation team.
• Conduct code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or development.
• Ability to technically lead and manage a small team.
• Hands-on experience with various testing frameworks and tools (RestAssured, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG).
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Experience in backend testing (REST API).
• Skilled in functional testing.
• Expertise in test automation and report generation using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience.
• Knowledge of relational databases (DB2, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with software debugging tools.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes development.
• Relevant certification (ISTQB).
• Solid experience with version control systems (preferably Git).
• Ability to pass a security clearance investigation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
